Good day, everyone! Happy Wednesday! It has come to my attention that we’ve had a lot of stuff going on since I last graced your LinkedIn notifications, so I’m here to help get you all up to date!
Mainly, we have had a good amount of news show up on the Andromeda Galactic Blog. Conferences, coding, podcasts, and updates are in store for you, so let’s see what the team has been writing about!
- Martine and Michel Dowden Present Talks in Berlin - The back half of October had our stars Martine and Michael Dowden heading to Berlin. They gave talks, they saw red pandas, it was a good trip!
- Simple Subscribe Form Updated - Originally published in 2022, this example on how to create a simple form on a static website has been updated to reflect changes in technology over the past few years.
- Podcasts with Michael Dowden - Michael has been on a few podcasts over the past few months, including The Reconfigured Podcast, the ClueCon Weekly Podcast, and the Tech Sharmit Podcast. Give these a listen if you’re interested in his thoughts on starting a business, release strategies, and what he’s learned from working with over 100 companies over the past thirty years.
- Remodel your TypeScript Code with Decorators - An article Michael Dowden wrote for Javascript Magazine.
- Hot Convention Summer - Finally, we took a look at everything Lore Link did over this past summer, from going to a full release to time spent at gaming conventions.
I would also like to thank everyone who followed along with our Spooky Tales from the Trenches blog series. I have such fond memories of that party of twenty trying to jump the line…
In other news, the team has been hard at work not just on projects for our clients, but also making updates to FlexePark, quality of life improvements to Ignition CMS, and of course, continuing to improve Lore Link through user feedback. And speaking of Lore Link…
If you don’t follow Lore Link on Twitch, you might have missed our spotlight on independent creators. The past few months, in addition to the team’s rotation of video games, game planning, and actual plays, Mark and Michael have been talking with independent creators about their games, and how they can work with Lore Link. You can find these videos over on the Lore Link YouTube channel, and I really recommend checking them out. There’s some really neat games and projects in there!
With that, I’m going to sign off on this newsletter. If you’ve read this far down, thank you! I appreciate you! Please remember to take good care of yourself. Stay hydrated, don’t work through meals, and get up from your desk to stretch now and then. Most importantly, please be excellent to yourselves and each other.
